Director - Financial Planning & Analysis (8-15 yrs)

Job Description:

- Oversee the entire process of detailed financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across different regions, business units, and functions.

- Convert strategic goals into actionable financial forecasts.

- Present complex financial scenarios and provide options to support critical decision-making.

- Offer valuable insights on revenue and profitability, guided by budgets and forecasts.

- Produce detailed monthly financial reports and ad-hoc analyses that provide in-depth insights.

- Track and assess key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Create and deliver concise reports that evaluate financial metrics across different time periods.

- Generate customized reports based on specific departmental or KPI analysis requests.

- Effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders, including financial department leaders and senior management.

- Present monthly and quarterly financial results, tailoring information for various units and departments.

- Offer focused financial analysis and act as a trend forecaster, delivering actionable insights to the CFO and decision-makers.

- Implement business intelligence tools and manage dashboard reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date bases.

- Assist the management team and department heads with data-driven insights and analysis.

- Provide forecast vs. actual performance reports to the leadership team and Board of Directors.

- Analyze business performance at both the unit and geographical levels.

- Develop and refine budgets while forecasting future financial performance.

- Utilize financial models to account for industry trends and economic factors, adjusting plans as required.

- Continuously engage in rolling forecasts and planning for the next 12 months and 3 years.

- Conduct scenario analysis, exploring best-case, expected, and worst-case financial outcomes.

- Identify strategic responses to various scenarios to better prepare the business.

- Provide timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
