Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Technology to oversee the operations service delivery of our IT organization, specifically focused on IT and Accounting Services outsourcing. This role will lead and manage a team responsible for the delivery of application management and support services for various ERP and SaaS platforms, including PeopleSoft, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, and Salesforce. The VP - Technology will drive operational excellence, ensure service quality, and maintain high standards of client satisfaction. The role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in technology and extensive experience in ERP/SaaS application implementation and support.
Key Requisite:
- Should have experience in atleast 2 ERP's.
- Should have fair understanding on Financial Module
- Hands on technical experience in implementation along with core delivery
- Should be a people manager and led large team size.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery Leadership: Oversee and ensure effective service delivery for IT services across ERPs and SaaS platforms. Drive operational excellence, meeting or exceeding client expectations in terms of quality, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Operations Management: Develop and manage operational processes to optimize efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Monitor and report on KPIs, SLAs, and client satisfaction metrics, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the SVP of Operations to develop and execute a strategic vision for the IT service delivery function, aligning it with business objectives and market demands.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical leadership for the management and support of ERP/SaaS applications (PeopleSoft, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce). Ensure the team is equipped with the latest tools and best practices to manage these applications effectively.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the team.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders for IT service delivery. Maintain and strengthen client relationships, understanding their business needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with service delivery. Develop contingency plans and proactive measures to address potential issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 18+ years of experience in IT service delivery, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience with ERP and SaaS application management, specifically PeopleSoft, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or Salesforce.
- Strong background in technology, with hands-on experience in ERP/SaaS implementation and support.
- Exceptional operational management skills, with a track record of delivering on SLAs and KPIs.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience in building and scaling teams.
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in IT and Accounting Services outsourcing or BPO environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and the latest trends in SaaS application management.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
