Head - Finance & Accounts - Foods Business (15-23 yrs)

1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation:

- Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financial statements across multiple subsidiaries and business units.

- Oversee the preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports.

- Ensure that all statutory filings, including tax filings and regulatory reports, are completed accurately and on time.

2. Finance & Accounting:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.

- Ensure that all accounting entries are correctly posted in the system according to accounting standards and company policies.

- Manage reconciliation of bank statements, intercompany balances, and other accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

- Ensure that the month-end and year-end closing processes are efficiently completed.

3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

- Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring liquidity, investments, and working capital requirements.

- Lead cash forecasting, ensuring that the organization maintains sufficient liquidity to meet its operational and financial obligations.

4. Internal Controls & Compliance:

- Implement and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure that proper auditing and compliance standards are maintained.

5. Team Leadership & Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing coaching, development, and mentorship to finance and accounting staff.

- Ensure the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and reporting within the finance department.

6. Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for all financial and accounting-related matters within the organization.

- Provide financial insights to senior management and contribute to key decision-making processes.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory bodies on finance-related issues.
