Head - Plant Operations (15-25 yrs)

Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: Kolkata Plant Location

Industry Background: Apparel only

Experience: 15+ years

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and cost control.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.

- Monitor production schedules and inventory to meet customer demand and minimize downtime.

- Develop and implement safety, health and environmental policies to ensure compliance.

- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to support innovation and scalability.

- Establish KPIs to monitor production efficiency, quality standards and waste reduction.

- Oversee the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.

Key Qualifications:

- Engineering degree or equivalent with extensive operational management experience.

- Expertise in large-scale production planning and quality assurance.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
