Position Name: Head-Accounts
Location: Mumbai
Experience Range: 15 - 20 years
Mandatory Requirement:
- Expertise in book-keeping/ Accounting.
- Extensive experience in technical/ client accounting, preparation of financial statement, internal and external audits and Taxation.
Must be from the BFSI / broking industry.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Handling and working with Teams responsible for Book-keeping including payables, receivables, client accounting, Taxation etc.
- Control over books of Accounts for timely and accurate completion.
- Guidance to stakeholders for preparing the financial statement to present true picture of financials of Company.
- Monitoring necessary returns and submissions by Company on daily/ monthly/ quarterly/ yearly basis.
- Interpretations of new regulatory requirements from accounting and reporting point of view and guiding team members for same.
- Controls over Direct and Indirect Taxation, managing tax assessments, also doing necessary interpretation of tax regulations.
- Managing stakeholders like consultants, Internal and External auditors.
- Ensuing Accounting function follows necessary TAT in terms of vendor, client and Franchise payments.
- Managing relationship with business in terms of resolving queries with respect to taxation, payments, helping resolve queries from customers and franchises
- Contributing to regulatory and business projects
Qualification and Experience:
- Graduate/ Master's Degree in Accounting with 12 to 20 years of experience accounting, reporting.
Other Details:
- Excellent Communication skills - oral & written
- Should have good behavioral conduct including ability to deliver & collaborate.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to develop others, improve their skills, inspire and mentor them.
- Maintain commitment towards client.
- Ability to develop, adapt a process, ability to understand, explain and support change.
