Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our banking client as the Segment Head of Credit for the Mid Market and SME segment. The role involves overseeing the credit underwriting and portfolio management for the mid-market and SME segments across multiple geographies in India. The candidate will be responsible for leading the credit team, ensuring efficient risk management, and supporting business growth by working closely with stakeholders across the bank.

Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in credit management or corporate banking, with substantial experience in handling mid-market and SME segments.
- Experience in team management and leading large credit teams.
- Proven track record of portfolio management in the banking industry, specifically for mid-market/SME clients.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Expertise in financial analysis and structuring complex credit deals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, FRM, or related qualifications would be an added advantage.
