Job Description
- Develop and implement data protection strategies including formulation of comprehensive data protection plans that align with the organizations objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the organization adheres to data protection laws, such as DPDP and other relevant regulations pertaining to personal data protection.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate data privacy risks across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures.
- Manage the personal data protection tools, procedures and systems.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness about data privacy and protection within the organization.
- Develop and manage procedures for responding to data breaches and data privacy incidents.
- Work with various stakeholders and ensure the organization maintains accurate inventory of personal data and have robust data privacy and protection standards.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of measures to protect access to personal data.
- Act as the main SPOC for data protection privacy compliances.
- Provide expert advice on data protection rules and regulations, ensuring the organization’s practices meet legal standards.
- Facilitate regular data protection audits and reporting
