Job Description

  • Role & responsibilities

Manpower Planning & Recruitment:

  • Understand manpower requirements from the hiring departments.
  • Identify key competencies required for open positions.
  • Source candidates through appropriate channels and recruitment methods.
  • Coordinate the sourcing, shortlisting, and interview process.
  • Facilitate and coordinate interviews with the respective department.
  • Maintain and update recruitment data on a regular basis.
  • Conduct background verification of candidates.
  • Oversee the offer process and manage the joining formalities.

Recruitment Reporting:

  • Prepare and send regular recruitment MIS reports, including details on recruitments and resignations.

Induction & Onboarding:

  • Manage the induction and onboarding process for new employees.

Employee Relations & Support:

  • Act as a central point of reference for internal and external HR queries.
  • Ensure that messages are recorded and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Address employee grievances and support disciplinary actions when required.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and improve workplace culture.

Policy & Process Development:

  • Support the formulation and implementation of HR policies and processes, including employee manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards in all HR-related processes.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Work out compensation packages for new employees, confirmations, and final settlements.
  • Ensure maintenance and audit of personal files.
  • Oversee statutory compliance and manage accounting for PF, ESI, insurance policies, gratuity, and medical coverage.

Payroll & Leave Management:

  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle employee attendance, time-off requests, and maintain leave records.

Training & Development:

  • Oversee employee training and development programs.
  • Support performance appraisal processes.

General Administration:

  • Handle general office administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Statutory Compliance & HR Audits:

  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliances, including provident fund (PF), employee state insurance (ESI), insurance policies, and other legal requirements.
  • Ensure regular audits of HR documentation and personnel files.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR management, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, statutory requirements, and ISO compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Experience in payroll management and compensation planning..
