We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a proven track record in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive business growth in both new and existing markets. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to achieve individual and team objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the hospitality sector.
- Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Create and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets. -
Team Leadership and Management:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify, recruit, and onboard top sales talent.
- Mentor, coach, and motivate sales team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. -
- Set clear performance expectations and track progress against goals.
- Conduct sales training.
- Business Development and Client Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients in the hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, event venues, and other related businesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales performance data, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. -
- Utilize CRM systems to manage sales activities and track customer interactions.
- Provide sales forecasting.
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and its dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
