Role and Responsibilities:
Lead the HR function and work directly with the founders and senior management, on responsibilities like:
- Overseeing the entire spectrum of activities related to the employee life cycle (hiring to exit) including new hire processing, background verification, on-boarding, exits, maintenance of employee record, internal movements etc.
- Understanding the organizational and functional goals, translating them into HR strategy and executing them leveraging the HR team.
- Creating and implementing HR processes & policies.
- Managing the performance management & feedback cycles
- Driving improvement initiatives. Automating processes and driving efficiencies.
- Resolving employee queries/grievances
- Building intelligent employee engagement practices
- Implementing rewards & recognition programs aimed at engaging employees and motivating them
Skills Required:
- 10+ yrs of prior experience in working in a similar role, preferably in the internet/tech space
- Past experience in a start-up or small/mid-size company preferred
- Someone who has the maturity to work directly with the founder/higher management on strategies and execute the plans accordingly with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
