Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients, partners, and educational institutions.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in companies to ensure consistent opportunities for student placements.
Create proposals and negotiate deals with clients to bring new business onboard, focusing on strategic partnerships and collaborations.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to raise the companys profile and acquire new clients.
Student Placement:
Build and maintain relationships with companies across various industries to create placement opportunities for students.
Match student profiles with relevant job openings and prepare them for interviews and company interactions.
Guide students in resume building, interview preparation, and career coaching.
Follow up with placed students and employers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any post-placement issues.
Track placement statistics and report on placement performance regularly.
MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) Management:
Initiate and manage the process of creating MoUs with educational institutions, corporations, and industry partners.
Collaborate with the legal team and other departments to ensure MoUs are drafted, reviewed, and executed properly.
Foster long-term relationships with existing MoU partners and explore new opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
Coordinate with internal teams to implement agreements and ensure smooth operations.
Reporting & Analysis:
Regularly report on business development, placements, and MoU activities to senior management.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (6-10 years) in business development, student placement, or managing corporate partnerships.
Strong network and relationships within industries that typically hire graduates or trainees.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to bring in new business opportunities and student placements.
Knowledge of industry trends and employer needs.
Familiarity with MoU processes, including drafting and managing agreements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Manage the company's job portal, ensuring job postings are current, accurate, and reflective of our ongoing needs; oversee the timely removal of outdated listings
Schedule and conduct interviews with successful alumni and Participants to highlight and promote their achievements within and outside the organization.
Develop and maintain robust relationships with company alumni, organizing regular events and communications to foster a vibrant alumni network.
Desirable Skills:
Prior experience in educational institutions or career services.
Experience working with HR departments of large organizations.
Ability to multi-task and manage various stakeholder relationships effectively.
