Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Placement and Internship Coordinator. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will manage and oversee the campus placement and internship processes, engage with companies, and ensure that students are successfully placed in internships and final placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engagement with Companies: Initiate and maintain contact with potential employers through emails, phone calls, and on-site visits to secure opportunities for Final Placements and Summer Internships.
  
• Collaboration with Recruiters: Work closely with organizations to match relevant job vacancies to specific academic programs, ensuring a good fit for Final Placements and Summer Internships.
  
• Placement Process Management: Oversee the entire campus placement process, including initiating discussions with recruiters, organizing pre-placement talks, coordinating student interviews, and securing job offers for students.
  
• Research and Identify Opportunities: Conduct research to identify potential recruiters and explore hiring opportunities across industries, functions, and job roles that align with student profiles.
  
• Maintain Recruiter Relations: Build and nurture relationships with existing recruiters, ensuring continued collaboration and strategize to improve placement outcomes, such as enhancing job quality, attracting top-tier companies, and increasing the average salary offered to students.
  
• Data Management: Ensure accurate maintenance of records, including offer letters, internship letters, and other necessary documentation, on relevant platforms or formats.
  
• Document Verification: Assist with the verification process for the Placement Management System (PMS), onboarding student profiles, and managing the verification of invitation documents.
  
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure all records and reports are updated and maintained as per statutory requirements.
  
• Student Support: Address student concerns regarding placements and internships, provide guidance, and offer support to help them succeed in the interview process.
  
• Corporate Engagement: Support corporate engagement initiatives, including organizing guest lectures, training sessions, workshops, and other events aimed at enhancing student employability.
  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Any Graduate (preferably in Communication/Management). MBA is desirable.
  
• Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in campus placements, internships, or a similar role.
  
• Skills:
  
• Proficient in computer applications (Advanced Excel, Spreadsheet, PPT).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal teams and external recruiters.

Communication & Working Relationships:

• Internal: Collaborate with various Schools, Functions, and Departments within the organization.
• External: Establish and maintain relationships with Industry partners and Corporates.
