Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management:
  
• Oversee the procurement process for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and consumables in line with hospital requirements.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers for quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

• Inventory Management:

• Ensure adequate stock levels of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
• Track and report on inventory usage and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.

• Compliance & Documentation:
  
• Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement transactions, contracts, and inventory.

• Vendor Relations & Communication:
  
• Maintain effective communication with vendors, internal stakeholders, and hospital departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Resolve any issues with suppliers regarding product quality, delivery timelines, or invoicing discrepancies.

• Reporting & Analysis:
  
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, expenses, and inventory levels for management review.
• Utilize Excel and other tools for procurement analysis, cost optimization, and reporting.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:
• B Pharma or D Pharma from a recognized institution.

• Experience:
• 5-6 years of experience in procurement, specifically in pharmaceuticals and medical consumables, within a multispecialty hospital environment (preferably 100+ bedded hospitals).

• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong communication skills in both Tamil and English (both verbal and written).
