Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - There was total of 2 rounds.
In the first round there was an online interview mostly about subject wise questions and about previous job responsibilities.
Second round was a face to face interview at their head office at Lulu Mall Kochi. Interview was mostly casual ,some personal questions and previous job related questions were asked. Working knowledge of SAP was tested.
I had fared well but an interviewer asked me a question regarding the reason for resigning from my previous company before landing at another job and he was quite not convinced with my honest answer.
I had a really hectic working schedule at my previous job and the pay was not sufficient enough to support such a tedious job so I had to call it a quit and they had working schedule of 7 days a week with no off. So I was not in a position to look up for another job after such a mess schedule. So i was forced to resign after giving out a 1 month notice period. I kept all the professional ethics and etiquette at my previous job and never ran away from the job.
During Lulu F2F interview, one interviewer was acting like a typical old school indian interviewer. He could have tried to show some empathy and atleast show some compassion in sorting out the reason behind my resignation from my previous firm, instead he insisted more on the reason behind my resignation without landing at a job.
Dear recruiters, sometimes think from the side of the candidates and try to assess the situation and never jump to conclusions easily listing out silly reasons. If the candidate is clearly skilled and has the potential to carry out the job ,give him an opportunity to perform. Life is too short ,keep out of egoistic thoughts and try to spread positivity. Thanks 🙂
