Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - We applied in Ultratech Cement as a part of Campus Recruitment on the post of Management Trainee (Road, Rail and Warehouse Logistics Profile)
40 sat in the process, out of which 11 secured the Job, 15 selected in other companies (because the process took 2.5 months to complete). (6 quit the job after joining because of unsuitable location).
Students with Engineering and Supply Chain background were preferred.
Interviews were really calm and peaceful. They talked as if they are like our families (They might give you shock later, when they will send you to a location with extremely no connectivity). ;)
Beware of the fact when I say No connectivity! I actually mean it! That's the reason why they were making interviews so easy, they just wanted to join someone in such remote locations.
If you really need a Job and money is the only thing matters to you, and you are not a person who is influenced by unavailability of Internet, Markets, City Life, Good Transport Connectivity, and Good Restaurant Food of course, this job is for you.
I initially accepted the Job Offer, They offered 6LPA (Basic Pay only 5LPA) but I quit the job within a month, because the corporate culture was literally in minus, the team was excellent and highly supportive, but no sign of growth and salary, No amenities, and for a fresher it can be really over whelming and hard to digest in the beginning of their career.
They would pamper you by considering you as family, they say they will raise you to the senior management, but to be honest there is no growth! Just keep in mind there is a high retention rate in Ultratech, because of poor facilities and remote location of their plants. Of course no one wants to go to village with a population of 200 people after pursuing an MBA.
