I applied via campus placement at Sathyabama University and was interviewed in Nov 2024. There were 4 interview rounds.

Round 1 - Coding Test

In Round 1, they assessed the in-depth knowledge of students by evaluating aptitude, one coding question, and programming skills through MCQs. From my college, out of 600 applicants, they selected 138 students.

Round 2 - Group Discussion

It was such a great experience participating in the group discussion. They divided the 138 students into 15-16 batches and conducted group discussions. My session lasted around 5-10 minutes, and it was my first-ever experience in a group discussion. I gave it my best effort and was thrilled to get selected.

Group Discussion Tips:

1. Speaking for the sake of it isn’t the key to success in a GD. Follow these three tips:

Speak only when you have a valid and strong point to contribute.

Maintain eye contact while speaking to appear confident and engaged.

Dress professionally and ensure your appearance is neat and appropriate.

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - After thorough research, I realized that the role of an SAP consultant is not only high-paying but also highly in demand both in India and global markets. To secure this job, it’s essential to be confident and strong in your favorite programming language. Alternatively, ensure that you are proficient in the skills you’ve mentioned on your resume.

Entering this company as an intern is not an easy task. Patience is crucial because you may need to work for a year or more with comparatively low compensation (details of which I won’t disclose here). However, the knowledge and impactful experience you gain during this time will be invaluable for your future.

This information has been gathered from employees.

Wishing you all the very best as you begin your journey, and congratulations on kick-starting your career with Kaar Technologies!

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - There were four rounds of interviews, starting with one hour behavioural around, writing sample, case study and final interview for cultural fit. The overall recruitment process is very disorganised as I applied for this role in October before Diwali and the HR got back to me in November end. It's almost as of September 2024 they have this position open and cannot fill it up I had qualified until the case study round which was a very negative experience overall the interviewer was from a senior position. This round requires you to have business acumen and use the RCA technique to perform well enough. It seems to me that the expectations are unreasonably high for a fresher level role and they want someone who is a jack of all trades and they don't have to provide the necessary training once the person joins. Worst, they called their recruitment process a very high standard as an excuse but this is a very wrong culture, especially for freshers starting their career as they're looking for highly technical skills. My writing sample and behaviour round went super well but the ultimate deciding factor for them was the case study round. I think it just shows how rigid they are and how they willingly ignore my other capabilities and stuck on that one round to make a decision. Would have been better if they just took the case stud round first if they were so specific on that skill set instead of wasting my time. The interviewer for the case study round was very rude and over confident on his skills and expertise that he wasn't willing to fully listen to me or let me complete my answer it felt like he already knew he didn't find me a fit. Gartner could be a good organisation overall but I think individuals in this company such as the one interviewing for this role is not doing any justice to the good reputation.

    Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - - I would say do not waste your time on this. Just keep it running in the backend.
    - I made the mistake of spending too much time on this alongside my busy job. Even though all the interviews went very well, I did not receive the job offer and they just sent me a simple rejection template email after I invested 2 months of my time and had given 6 rounds of interviews.
    - I don't know how the culture at the company is, if it is not decent enough to send me the feedback (even after requesting it) given that I invested so much of my time and even the interviewers were impressed with my interviews.
