Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - My experience with Ruby, the HR representative from Bayport Group, was disappointing due to a lack of professionalism and coordination.

Initially my interview was scheduled for Saturday, but I encountered an invalid link error. When I called to inform her, I was told the interview needed to be rescheduled- a detail she had forgotten to communicate to me beforehand.

Later on Monday, we agreed on an interview time of 11:30 AM. However, at 11:28 am, I received a call from her saying the panel was waiting for me to join, which was unexpected and confusing. Despite trying to join the meeting on the provided link, I encountered the same ‘invalid link’ issue. I shared screenshots of the error and attempted troubleshooting for 10 minutes, but Ruby informed me that the panel could no longer accommodate the interview due to other commitments.

This experience left me feeling that m time and efforts as a candidate were not valued. The lack of clear communication and proper coordination was unprofessional, and I hope Bayport addresses these concerns to improve the candidate experience.
