Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Shortlisting was done on basis of aggregate percentage in graduation and in addition, involvement in sports was given weightage since it's an on-field job and requires the applicant to be fully fit and dynamic.
Tips: Outdoor Sports and it's accolades during academic period are a must these days for similar job profiles like this. There should be a balance between academic and sports performance. Neither of the two should outweigh the othe.

Round: Test
Experience: Core Electrical Engineering basis and conceptual questions involving very less calculation and covering almost everything were asked in written test.
Tips: Anyone who desires to be in these core job profiles, must have sound knowledge of basic and conceptual topics otherwise if somehow someone with poor concepts gets in these profiles, he/she will feel stuck up and the enjoyment factor in job will be negative.
Duration: 30 minutes
Total Questions: 50

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: A complete 45 mins interaction with a panel of 3 members with easy but wide variety of questions was held. My active participation was appreciated after the end of interview.
Tips: Stay calm, be yourself and be candid. Never try to fake yourself or be an ideal student who knows everything. Be humble andalways try to reflect positivity during your interaction with the panel.

Round: Behavioural Interview
Tips: Interviews of this kind will make you uncomfortable and will be really hard for you to get through because of the uncertainty and randomness of questions. You will never figure out what qualities does the interviewer wants on you. The best way to tackle this kind of interviews is be yourself and don't try to over attempt and fool the interviewer
