maximum 1.5 hours.

Experience: The general weakness is that people wait for the other person to
stop in order to start speaking, and in the end they don’t speak anything.
Tips: Keep on speaking a lot

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Case studies, puzzles, questions
based on resume, DDP, internships. Even the HR interviewers ask questions based
on DDP, just to see how well you are able to articulate your views, and how
responsible you are.One
of the guesstimate questions asked in Housing was “Estimate the number of
teenage girls in Adyar”. Another such guesstimate questions asked was “What is
the total distance a cricket ball travels in a one-day match?” They were
testing the approach used by the candidate in arriving at an estimate
Tips: Do go through the overall report of the DDP, so that you are able to explain the project in a short span of time.

General Tips: attend 1 mock GD held by the
department.

Experience: Aptitude has general questions ,In section 2(software) they asked us to write a program for 2 questions
Tips: Try to score maximum in aptitude test software section I could not do well but I got selected.

Experience: They mainly see for your confidence ,enthusiasm to learn things quickly.They asked me one question from software.
Tips: Prepare HR questions thoroughly from 64 HR question book

How did u come up with a particular decision?

Round: Test
Experience: Section-1Most of the question were on aptitude. Objective questions in coding were on basics of Java, OOP.
Section-2
Two coding problems were given. You can code in any language of your choice(C,C++,Java). The questions were simple and can be answered easily if you have practice in any one language.
Tips: Test is not given much weightage if the student has experience in programming (intern or project ..etc)

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Interview consists only 1 roundI have experience in web development. So they asked most of the questions related to web development.
I didnt answer all the questions. For questions which I dont know I immediately agreed that I have no knowledge in that.
Tips: Answer confidently. Confidence level will really have a lot of effect in interviews.
Students with any sort of programming experience (intern, project..etc) can get selected easily.

General Tips: Following will help to get placed in a very good software profile
1) Data Structure and Algorithms course
2) Practice in any one coding language. Many websites are available for practice(hackerrank.com,codechef.com ..etc). Questions in interviews will be similar to the questions in these websites.
3) Programming Experience. It can be intern,academic project..etc

Experience: Since exam was conducted by Cocubes, the questions were more or less of similar difficulty level for most of the placement tests. I cleared many of the tests and I found the questions easy but the time limit is little too less if you have not practiced enough quant for placements.

There were two coding questions out of which I solved one completely and the other one partially.
Tips: Start quant and verbal preparation as early as possible and that will take care of placement tests.

Experience: It was good as I had prepared myself for most of the questions and interviewers were quite friendly. 

If I could not come up with a convincing answer I always responded confidently that I was not sure.I was asked to solve a coding problem. It was tricky.They asked me about the online course entitled "Playful science of Android apps" which I did on Coursera.They also asked me about the courses I mentioned on my resume and as to how they were relevant to them.Overall it was a good experience.
Tips: Prepare prepare prepare!!Prepare for most commonly asked questions.Do research about the company.Conduct a mock interview session with your friends.
