Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: There were about 21 questions which were mainly based on aptitude, Mysql, Basic coding. Go through basics of arrays, linked lists, sorting algorithm before the test. There were about 12 aptitude based questions (mostly all easy) Mysql questions were about 5 and basic coding were about 4.Shortlisting for GD was done based on the scores only.
Tips: Go through basics of C OR C ++ before test
Duration: 45 minutes
Total Questions: 21

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: From test about 20 students were shortlisted for GD and we were divided into 5 in each group, At first we were asked to choose our own topic but a different one was given.at first each person was given about 2 minutes to talk, then we had to discuss (agree or counter agree)with others .It went about for 10 minutes, then the moderator from the company gave his views and asked a few questions.Mainly the communication skills were seen rather than the thought process.
Tips: Be clear on your points. Even though other persons might have explained your views try presenting in a different way . stick to your alloted time.
Duration: 30 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Listen to ppt which the company gives ( in general) it may be useful in hr...questions about why i'm shifting from core to non core were also asked
Tips: go through company profile before attending hr

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: coding questions from the test were asked to explain (most of them were asked such questions except me)...basic cv questions such as what have you learnt in analytics and why have you learnt...i was asked to explain what macros does...then there were some personal questions as to why not take a govt job ....then some questions were asked about fests which I have worked and my role in that....if you have done publicity for any fest then its an added advantage because the work involves lot of travelling

Skill Tips: Cat preparation would help for aptitude...learn basics of sql and coding
