Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - This was my campus placement and the interview was mainly conducted on all parameters that they have set for a fresher . The questions were from specialization ( Marketing) , Leadership , Analytical, Situational , Extra curricular activities , Project . The interview went for more than 45 minutes and it was conducted smoothly . All they wanted to check my presence of mind and how effectively I communicate . I tried to answer all questions with a storytelling. I would share one example- how did you realize that sales are your forte because you have done your internship in marketing ? I started answering this question from my college event where I participated and went outside to bring sponsors for the event and eventually I was able to bring 3-4 sponsors and there i realized that this is my hidden potential that I had never realized. For this my professor told me that you have good aura why don't you go outside and try to interact with strangers . This is how I connected everything and made it like a storytelling . The interviewer wants to see how well you're able to connect things that you have mentioned in your resume and what exactly you have learnt during two years of your MBA program . The interviewer can assess you on various parameters but you need to remain cool and calm and if you don't know something then don't try to beat around the bush . You can simply say i don't know this sir/madam . This leaves a good impression. Always be confident whatever you know and keep smile on your face . Don't take too much stress about the result .
