Interview Questionnaire

1 Question

  • Q1. Based on the job profile/subject

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Firstly, present a well groomed fresh look, with sober and comfortable clothing; no jeans and T shirt and must wear a polished shoe, no sneakers or chappals..

Secondly, be confident but not presumptious, dont assume things. Example seek permission before entering the interview room, sit only when asked. While sitting dont slouch and look straight but dont stare at the papers on the interviewers table.

Next, be measured and to the point when you speak, not too loud and easily heard with words clearly spoken. Focus on the query and start answering only when the interviewer has finished speaking.

Confidence emanates from knowledge. Hence know your subject well with prior preparations. Even then, nobody is expected to know everything. So be honest and if you have no idea of the answer then admit it. If you have a fair idea, then express yourself logically without arguing with the interviewer. If there is a panel of interviewers, then reply in a manner so that you make eye contact with everyone while primarily addressing the person who has posed the query.

Every candidate is usually aware of subjects/topics where he is strong. The endeavour should be to lead the interviewers towards topics where own expertise lies. This can be done subtly by mentioning some catchword from your area of expertise while answering the question posed to you, if an opportunity arises. It may or may not result in the desired question but it usually works. The objective is to play to your strengths..........on a pitch of your choice even if the toss is with the interviewer !!

Finally, always wear a smile and on conclusion of interview, thank them politely, wish them as per the time of the day and move out with a confident gait.
