Experience: Questions were general aptitude ranging from analytical reasoning,verbal,quant,reading comprehension and also non verbal total time allotted was 75 minutes and there was sectional cut off for each of the sections.

Experience: Interview was the most important pat of the selection process questions were purely technical .they asked about my project paper presented and training and gave some practical problems interview was for 45-50 minutes.
Tips: Required a good understanding of the core subjects like manufacturing and machine tools.

Experience: HR was apart of the technical assessment itself they inquired about my background and my interest to join the company.

Skill Tips: In the interview the interviewer seemed to put stress on me in the last to judge my temperament rest was all routine type of procedure they followed. L&T is a company that looks for a candidate good in the core subjects rest things like communication and attitude comes second to them so be prepared for the interview and solve some basic aptitude questions before sitting for the company.

Experience: Maths was easy from R.S.Aggarwal, the analytical was the toughest among the 3 but not so tough.
Tips: The important chapters like time and work, time and distance, trains, percentages, sets, data interpretations.. english had antonyms, reading comprehensions, sentence completions only one or two words were unknown. Practice questions from R.S.Aggarwal. Verbal. That is a must.

Experience: The tech interview was for one hour and ten minutes but i was asked very basic fundas. no high funda questions. project was asked. then i was questions like Bernoulli equations, prove it on the water bottle kept it on the table, some questions on ideal gas law, heat transfer questions, difference between combustion and oxidation general stuff ,it was simple. But students from mechanical and other branches were asked proper tech stuff.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: There was no hr interview as such but i was asked more HR in the interview. I was asked why do you want LnT, LnT pays low so why will u continue here. Where do you see yourself after 3 years? What are the qualities of a project manager?, will you fight for your rights etc.

Skill Tips: I would say it was a nice experience and gave me actual feel of a campus interview. For people who are looking for a hard core technical job i would say from my internship experience that this is an amazing
place to begin with even though the salary is low.

Experience: In the technical interview the basic knowledge in civil engineering was checked and Bending moment and shear force
diagrams for a basic structure were asked and A Slab for a sump is to be laid of size 3m X 2m, for which there are two alternatives of laying slabs i.e two slabs of 1m X 3m each and three Slabs of 1m X 2m each and the best alternative was to lay three slabs of 1m X 3m so that the depth of slab can be reduced. Why the cross section of a chimney is increased from top to bottom. Typical reinforcement detailing for Structural Members and normal percentage of reinforcement adopted for different types of structures, Analysis of structures.The details about the project work that u have done in your Btech,Dip.

Experience: In the Personal Interview the details about the family background were asked .

Skill Tips: Your Basic knowledge in subject and the communicating abilities are the most important things that were checked and the answering style was also checked whether what you are answering is answered confidently or not. and whether u are able to choose a best alternative if some of the alternatives are given. Be perfect in basics and be touch with all the subjects that u have studied irrespective of the subject that you are the most interested in. CGPA is not of a big matter if u have the subject in you and perform well in the interview but it is better to have good CGPA.
