Need help in deciding the company. 1.Fractal Analytics 2.IRIS Software Inc. 3.Perficient 4.BP (British petroleum) 5.Genpact 6.Nagarro 7.GlobalLogic CCTC: 16.4 fixed YOE: 4.7 All above companies are having ctc ranged from 23-25 fixed and position is Senior AWS Data Engg. I am looking for a company which is offering good quality work and even though I need to stretch myself a bit initially I am ok with it. For nagarro I will be initially on the bench. Also any leads for fractal with what is the salary range for senior aws DE for 6+ yrs.

Hello, I'm a data engineer with 4.3 LPA and 3.2 years of total experience working as an Ab initio developer at my present firm. Right now, I really need to switch, but I'm having trouble doing so because I'm not getting enough interviews for Ab initio development. Could someone kindly tell me if learning ab initio alone would help me succeed, if I need to add anything else, if I should alter my designation to ETL DEVELOPER, and what technologies I need to learn for that specific role? I've been stuck on this LPA for the last 2 years.

Career decision - Job Switch. Need help in deciding on an offer from Crayon Data as "Data Scientist"

Currently I work for Verizon, as Data Scientist with 4 YOE and have a fixed salary of 10 LPA with variable coming around 2-3 more lakhs. The hikes (max 10-14% yearly), promotions, learning growth within Verizon are not that great but the work life balance and job security are very good. Due to financial requirements and to grow in my career, I wanted to switch job, so cracked interview from Crayon Data for Data Scientist role. They are offering me a fixed salary of 18 LPA and a variable of 2 LPA. Having this offer, I negotiated with my manager and she says that I'm next in line for promotion and can expect a 35-40% hike but that happens only in June/July & the salary changes start from September. And I asked if pay scale can be adjusted for my current role itself and she says that she can try to increase it by a little but there is no guarantee. Is it worth switching? My primary requirements are job safety, work culture, scope for learning. Any insights would really be helpful.

I'm an SQL (PLSQL to be precise) developer with 1.5 yoe and 3.7 lpa salary. I've decided to switch for a better pay and career since folks with only SQL aren't really in demand but here's the thing, I'm actually confused between whether i should focus on becoming a Data Analyst or a Data engineer. I know basic python so I only needed to learn power bi but I feel like it's just not working for me and I'm not enjoying building dashboard and visualization stuff. Then I felt like i should explore Data engineering as well, first there is a LOT TO LEARN in this. SQL, python, apache spark databrick and Cloud?? But even after all that I feel more inclined to explore Data engineering than data analysis. So my question is that whether pursuing data engineering for someone is possible considering I've only worked with SQL before and if it's possible what kind of salary I can expect if I switch after 2 year as SQL dev. Also how much python and DSA would be required to crack interviews. Thanks!

How about joining in Yash technologies for around 7 lpa for 3 years of experience for a 90 days notice however they said they can increase the offer upto 9 If I can able to join within 10 days.. as I'm currently on bench in my present company.
