Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The test basically tests your ability to solve questions as quickly as possible as it's a 60 minute test for 60 questions. The level of difficulty is pretty decent, so one just needs to be focused right from the beginning. English can trouble a bit, so some practice in English sections is also advisable.
Tips: Prepare from Arun Sharma Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning for CAT. It's a wholesome book and has enough questions to practice and build concepts. Join a test series so that you get a timed analysis of your performance, the ability to skip tough questions and to score as many marks as possible.
Duration: 40 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: It went pretty well. We had a great discussion. The approach was to list out all the problems one by one and think of probable solutions for each of them. During this, general group dynamics should be taken in consideration. Respect the views and thoughts of other people. Add value to the discussion by thinking critically and bringing new content every now and then. Always be specific and speak to the point.
Tips: Read. Read and Read.
Follow google news, read relevant articles in newspapers, magazines, social media sites or any other place.
Follow Quora, It'a an amazing source to boost your knowledge around any topic.
Duration: 50 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Be spontaneous, little humorous and lastly very confident. Communication skills improve with time, so start as early as possible. Take part in discussions. Speak up !
Tips: Have a sound knowledge about the industry and the company. They just check your approach. So be very clear and critical on the approach. Have good reasons to back what ever you present. Rest will be fine.

Experience: I wanted to join a security firm for my internship so I sent my resume to the marketing head with a cover letter applying for the internship. I had finished my second year of BBA and had one month prior experience of marketing internship. My CV contained all my acheievements in school as well as college. It was crisp and to the point.
Tips: Prepare your resume with great responsibility and be crisp with your words.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Criteria relating to above 60% in graduation and post graduation

Round: Test
Experience: MCQs related to English, Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude and General Knowledge.

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: They gave a short case study and asked us to discuss and come out with a solution.
Tips: Very easy. Solution and your take on the study doesn't really matter. It's how you speak on it. They will just see your confidence.

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Interview took about 20-25 minutes. Questions related to resume, background, other general HR questions, strengths, weeknesses, etc.
Technical questions related to indian economy, opinion on current affairs and simple bank related questions like what do you know about federal bank, basic banking terms, etc.

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: There were 12 people in Group discussion.We.were.given a minute to think on the topic.I entered second in the discussion. Opposing the opinion of the first . I said no and gave an example of how I got an opportunity of job because of linkedin. Everybody wanted to speak and 5-6 people began speaking at the same time. I tried to request people to speak one at a time and also give the less spoken a chance.I enters the discussion once more for a very short.time. Everybody was given a chance to conclude. I the conclusion I explained Why I took such a.stand and.explained.once again with a benefit my friend received due to technology.
Tips: Enter as early as possible
Be brief
State facts, figures and examples

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: 1. I told the important events of which , I was a part of.
What all opportunities and challenges I got to face.

2. Tell them what I.did in each one.of these.

3. Tell them if you got any or you can describe any sponsorship experience. You can mention any task in which you convinced somebody.

4. I descrined how one of.their product would.be helpful to company.

5. I talked about observing, asking for problems to different people in an organization and then talking to our own team if we could developed a solution .
Gave examples as well.

6 and 7. I.told.them the reality

8. I expressed my view that in short term a person may loose focus but in long term a good relationship is very helpful.

Tips: Make note of all things you have done in college in a word file. And read them before the interview. Higlight yoiur elected roles and tasks you have carried out successfully.

I opened up personal things like having a Girlfriend because I felt comfortable in talking to the interviewers . This is the reason why they asked me the last three questions. It did not plan to open up personal things it just happened.because of the reason I just mentioned above.

I think it is important to be frank as well as.well prepared..
Also being good at talking to strangers helps in an interview for sales .

Make sure you have a word file of all that you have done in life and also answers to basic HR questions like tell something about yourself, Why MBA, why Sales, Why this company, etc

Read throughly.about the products and.services which the company offers. You must go through their website.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Just highlighted where I was.born and brought up and what my education and work experience.
As well as what all I had done in my MBA ( Till date )
Tips: As mentioned above, keep the answers ready .

I also told them what I found interestimg in Winjits work and why I would like to join the company.
