Round: Test Experience: Prepare for CAT level to clear aptitude. Well for sure TCS raised its standards by revising the database of questions. Questions are of CAT level and cant be solved by just lazy preparation. Just plan well and prepare. Once you log in the “touch stone” (the software for submitting the answers)…….. you are given 10 minutes fr verbal test and 80 minutes for analytical. For verbal, believe me guys, if you are good in writing English passages and have sense of making tenses then you are done with verbal.
All u need is to make a story line in your mind using the phrases given by them.
Coming towards analytical part as previously mentioned, its of CAT level. Simply topics like S.p C.p, %age, mixture etc are not enough.
Its purely luck that what kinda questions are allotted to you .yeah, the repetition is there but again it depends upon your luck. Because in my batch, there was a boy who faced 19 questions from permutation and combination only.(didn't clear the aptitude) and one guy faced max of geometry questions and i was faced nearly 5 geometry questions.4-5 questions from time ,speed and more than expectation of reasoning too.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: erview ws nearly of half n hour…..+5/+10 mins)….so i advice u mates…..d Tips: 1. Confidence matters the most. 2. Don't utter anything complex/extremely technical word from your mouth from which the interviewr can pick a point and ask you a counter quest.
General Tips: Well try your luck in aptitude and be prepared with your area of interest. They can ask anything. Some were badly interviewed with C++ Programing so i advice better to write “Basics of C language” in your C.V. ….and if you don't know something, simply say “Sorry sir. I don't that”.
