Round: Test Experience: Round 1: Online aptitude test-50 marks(65 minutes).3 sections: 1. English-Passage based . Read once with attention and u can answer d questions fairly easily. 2. Quant: basically questions on sets and Venn diagrams. 3. Data interpretation and few more logical questions were there. RS Aggarwal-verbal reasoning and quant is sufficient if u practice it well. Search for previous papers of HEADSTRONG on net, (this should actually be done for any company) u will get an idea of d kind of questions that are asked. Don’t stick to a question for long. Tips: Around 80-85% students cleared it. Its easy to get through but ur score counts a lot.
Round: Group Discussion Experience: Round 2: GD Groups of 10 were made. Simple topics were given. Our topic was “is fashion important?”. u can put up ur points either for or against but make sure u don’t contradict ur own statement. stick to ur side. Don’t wait for a chance to be given. Speak as early as u can and don’t get out of d discussion if u have spoken once.try and be involved till d end. 4-5 were selected from each group.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: Round 3: PI I had 2 interviewers in my panel. Initially I was told to introduce myself and talk about my family background. Then questions related to project and training. This is very important. Then they asked me if I like to solve puzzles. I replied that I love to. I hardly understood d puzzle dat dey gave and showed my failed yet sincere efforts. Then HR questions like y to join this company, what do u expect from d company ,r u satisfied with d package, etc. Given the chance to ask questions I asked them to share their experience of d company. Finally 7 were selected from patna campus, one of them being me.
Round: Test Experience: Aptitude test majorly comprise of Quants ,Data Interpretation and English (majorly RC's) ....slightly on the higher side of R.S agrawall.Would recommend Arun Sharma's 3 books (quant, verbal and DI +reasoning ) . If you are already preparing for CAT , entire process would be like a MOCK test Tips: Selection Process:- Written Round + GD+ PI (As in 2011 ) All rounds were eliminatory. Eligibility :- 70 % throughout CTC :- 4 L Bond :- 2 Years / 1 lakh (You can easily do away with bond until 6 months of your joining,in case you get into some better organisation (Read PSU for non CS/IT people) . No company will sue you for bond amount . But if time spent is more than 6 months and you are joining another IT company , then it might land you in trouble ,because all IT company do a background verification )
Round: HR Interview Experience: Interviews generally are non technical and revolve around 'why this company' and 'why you' .Highly NOT recommended for those who want to grow their technical expertise . Headstrong works in Capital Markets and you can expect good exposure to BFSI domain.
