Senior Executive in MumbaiFinance & Accountingposted on 26 May 2022EY offers good compensation & it also takes it employees for an off-site for 2-3 days. EY offers good exposure & a good learning platform for career oriented people. It offers many soft skill trainings too. But the work life balance is poor. Other wise teammates are supportive & work culture is a go Read More

EY- Offer Negotiation
Hi all,
I recently cleared two technical interviews with EY for a pentesting role and was asked to fill out the CIS form by HR. Later, I received a call where they offered me 10.5 LPA CTC + 5% variable for the position of Security Analyst L3.
Here’s my background:
YOE: 2.5 years in cybersecurity
Certifications: OSCP, CRTO, CRTE, CEH, eCPPTv2
I mentioned that the offer seemed on the lower side, especially given my certifications and expertise, but the HR said they couldn’t increase it further and even mentioned they might drop my candidacy if I pushed for more.
I’d like your advice:
How much should I reasonably ask for given my profile?
Should I negotiate further or accept the offer?
Is this offer aligned with the market standards for a pentesting role?

It's a well established organisation in the industry. But there is no factor for me to like working at EY...
