Salary and bonus is good as compared to core pharma companies

Work life balance and bias among teams isn't good at all. Normal days are 10 am to 10 pm which very often stretchs beyond this as well. The transparency between hierarchies is very questionable. Even after working day and night your manager might question your credibility.

Toxic work culture even within the associates, associate consultant, managers. Don't even join as Associate consultant / Consultant with excellent previous track record you will regret later part of your career. No recognition / No respect only home grown associates will be always treated like a gems as If they are awarded from Harvard / Oxford. Not much stuff as business ethics getting worst rated projects by fooling clients. Please avoid joining if you have very good growth trajectory in your previous company choose wise company than ZS even slightly lesser salary comparison.

...r 2 minutes and other than the free cab transport nothing else comes to my mind. The compensation could be in the 75th percentile compared to others but the toxic environment, high work load, lack of empathy and constant job threat due to unethical means cannot compensate for the salary they offer

Toxic culture, power play n power abuse, unethical means and ways of addressing employee concerns, HR team in India sides with business blindly. Constant threat they will ask you to quit or counsel you out with made up reasons not limited to attendance, put you on a 4 week pip, based on one feedback which can be verbal, basically they can do whatever they want. Everybody has been voicing out the above since 3-4 years but the management and leadership is sitting on it with no intention to change.

Compensation is decent considering the Indian job market. Senior management tries to improve the work life balance from a high level. Decent upskilling options internally and externally (Though you may never even get to utilise these resources). Rarely work on weekends.

Average workday is 11-12 hours. Lunch away from your desk is a rarity and you will get some glares for taking as little as 20 mins off for lunch. Repetitive and stagnant work. Lack of understanding of projects at most levels since they struggle to retain employees more than a year. (Due to burnout, better offers etc.)

ZS Knowledge Management team is one of the worst teams in Pharma consulting. Full of internal politics largely driven by the home grown ZS managers who do not upskill themselves and are threatened by competent lateral hires from the industry. This team has hidden secrets policies that can be damaging for some of the most talented people out there. If you are an intelligent, aspirational and professional person, please don't waste your time and career opportunities by joining ZS Knowledge Management team. It is being run like a baniya lala company by a handful of home grown ZS KM managers who nothing more than 3rd level politics. One of the most corrupt practices including compliance issues can be found in ZS Knowledge Management team. If you are high on work ethics, good people related culture, please avoid joining ZS KM team. It will also help you avoid health issues.
