Great company in terms of culture and pay. Hire the best people and seem to really care for them. Lots of opportunity for learning with 1 day off a month for personal development

The company isn’t good at all, they posed as if they care about employees and is an employee centric company but the truth is far from it. There is no clear communication between employees and managers. The managers are rude. They ask employee to resign suddenly without their mistake

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
