Learning is good in wipro. They conducting various sessions, induction kind of classes to upskill ourselves. Helping to write costly exams by providing vouchers.

Dislikes

Salary was same as other IT services companies. And salary growth rate was decent when compared to other service companies.

If you're fresher you will have time to up skill yourself. Some practice management is good but most of them have their own rules to play with your life beside company policies . If you're experienced you need to be in project if not they will give you 45 days time after they try to terminate on bases of lack of skill some managers will force you to resign.

Dislikes

Salary and promotions if you're a fresher and elite batch then you will get retention bonus instead of hike based on rating. Those bonuses will have 2 years bond. This amount keep on increasing even your 3 months notice period salary is not enough to compensate company when you resign if you are not paying back you will not get experience letter . This is not only worst policy on freshers they have more worst policies for all employees in company.

I'm working for the organization from last 2.5 years, still didn't got an hike in my salary. Still I'm working on 3.5 LPA salary. I have upgraded my skills and also completed various certification that are required, still not use. Really disappointed by this behavior.

Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager for something after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world..

Nothing is here. No leaves, No salary increment weather your work 5 or 10 years it does not matter. Totally Boat licking & bread butter process for employees. Everything is for manager from B2 level. Everything is in there hand if they want to treat you well or not. You have to become pet anyhow still that have nothing to give you just sympathy empathy. Still they say there is IC role which is individual contributor role. There is no one to look what manager does. If you want to join wipro please become from B2 level nothing less. Thank you
