Dislikes

Aggressive work tracking using code commits, jira epics done etc. Night calls regularly. Lack of team spirit. Everyone is working individually. Quality of crowd has gone down drastically. Those joined in 2023 or later are workaholic. Increments are low < 10% starting 2024.

There's a lot of internal jargon and processes to get your head around. * Siloed Teams: Despite the interconnected nature of the work, I've noticed a tendency for teams to operate in silos. This can sometimes hinder collaboration and create communication challenges. * Fast-Paced Environment: While the dynamic environment can be exciting, it can also be quite demanding. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
