Work culture. In the name of ethics and culture they will play politics. Plus this company is female centric so avoid getting into. As you ll be thrown under the bus at any moment. Headless women rules the company and male on the name of leadership are spineless creatures. Avoid getting into this zero job security. Plus headless women rules here so no point of any learning’s.

compensation is decent but growth is too slow. Sometimes , i had to work 14-18 hrs a day as too many sudden changes.Job security is missing here.Work pressure is too much .work life balance is missed here

Worst work culture and fake management team. Don't be fooled by the PR and branding activities to make you delusional about them. Once they reel you in they will show the true colors to you. Worst SDLC process on planet and as don't value their developers. This process is desinged by the people who never worked on software develpment. Another problem is that co-founders and the management team members are old friends which forms their inner circle. Hence making them accountable for the mess they have created is very difficult. It is better is avoid this company at all the cost.

This company is a disgrace for the startup community. Using unstable, free and open-sourced products in the production environments without any vendor support. Because of this, SRE Team has to face the wrath of the customers. Scalability is non-existent and everything is designed just to make sure that it runs with minimum cost. On top of this, everyone behaves like a philosopher and high thinker despite the fact that they lack basic knowledge of how the software companies work. They also don't want to hear about the truth, they get happy after hearing what is pleasing to them. Talk about the process, it is a mess here. Everything is done on the fly without any release engineering process and their branching strategy is beyond confusing. System Architects and Staff Engineers are not into engineering but politics, and still they are made part of the system to make it more worse. HRs are the paid parrots of the upper management who don't work for employees but to run the PR campaigns to showcase that Ushur is a 1 in million company, which it is not. Politics run in the DNA of everyone who is sitting in the high position here. Either they are old friends, or part of some internal group, blah blah. Only the VP of Engineering and the AI Labs leaders are worthy of being called as leaders, rest all have zero knowledge of Software Engineering are dwelling on company's free lunches. If you are thinking about the job security, this company has laid off hardworking employees because of the less profit drawn of their crappy product which in turn is a result of the mess and politics these people depend on. This is my honest review after working with all the teams in Ushur as SRE only to get laid off in the end.
