Manual register for attendance is Maintained and I same is managed according to your relation with super bosses here To apply leave manual form need to be submitted in person and like schools you need to explain everything why you need leave even your personal reasons you need to explain Your balance leave will not be carry forward Discussion are always below the belt and typical PSU environments as most of the people here are from more than 25 year in this organisation even All Seniors are from old team and this bad culture flows from top to bottom Everything is manual and paper base and if you email here, then you are the culprit and will be handled You must be yes man to work here as no one will listen to you if you Suggest or ask something No training & no culture .. just keep quite listen to top boss which is most of the time below the belt

Having worked in consulting department, got to show my creativity and handle different types of projects. Got a chance to interact with senior level bureaucrats during various projects and travel to new destinations. It has been a great learing experience interacting with clients.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but career growth is too slow. People dont get promoted for more than 8-10 years. The work culture and environment is very bad, resulting in unsatisfied employees. The HR department never pays attention to the employees concern and leaves them unresolved, leading to good people quitting from the organisation. Managers do not value individuals unique strength, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the time. There is no- job training for freshers as well as regular trainings for knowledge upgradation at various levels (except for a previlaged few).The managers are biased and performance appraisal are not handled professionally. I have faced a lot of instances of misbehaviour and humiliation from both seniors and subordinates.
