Low compensation, less hikes for internal resources, salary deductions more than other companies, no benefits for shift allowance. IT and BPS have a culture of overworking without over time, groupism is common based on locality, language, etc. and favoritism is shown to people based on their rapport, rather than their competence or skills. Forget about any work-life balance once you get promoted to a senior or management role. Note: Experience may vary based on your business unit or project.

The work itself was quite challenging as it was ticket based (time bound) and needed prompt resolutions. Had a chance to work on many issues some which were critical. If recognized one can have an opportunity to work on projects adopting new technologies.

...ng thrown in by senior management at the center I did not have any job security. Was just happy to hold on to to the job even though the salary was meager. Basically worked in isolation and total dread of what would come in each appraisal. Was finally forced to resign with the excuse that there were no projects available.After all the hard work I put in, TechM decided to compensate me by abruptly asking me to leave. A dead end to my 6 years and 8 months of IT career. Wish I knew what TechM had against me....

You can work on different roles from top to bottom like from solution architect, coe,business analyst to system administrator hardware engineer.

...ategory. No onsite opportunity but at the time of joining they ask for passport. Hike is nominal if you get 5rating then you will be promoted but don't think about increase in salary. False commitment

To put it very simply, there won't be a double-digit salary hike even if you work for 10 years. The management is toxic, and it can be very depressing. Start learning new things while working here, as nothing in this company will provide you with good experience, except the total years of experience."
