As it an Indian MNC, with huge number of employees, the learning from your work is limited. If you have joined as a college fresher, you won't get package that is best of industry. I joined a fresher with 3.25 package, and left after 5yrs with 7.33 package, which is surely not good. The hike in terms of designation depends on how much you are involved in work, that is if you are working 11hrs a day every day, then only your designation or band will improve.

Tech Mahindra is good company for freshers. Very low salary hike. Work life balance is good. If your project manager is good then you can enjoy your work at TechM else, it's very hectic.
