I have worked on only one service-based project in Tech Mahindra. The basic package there for a Fresher was 1.6LPA then. I came to know this once I was in there and the employees are not treated well. A bunch of north Indian people(sorry to mention this) come here using a few references and settle down in the management roles and ruin the entire ecosystem. Now the same batch has flown away to Novartis using the same reference strategy and I think they are spoiling the system over there. This is about a particular case of my own experience.

Job security - Good

Dislikes

No salary hikes, no individual recognition, no clear project guidelines, poor management (the worst). If you encounter any problems during your work, no one will help you; you're on your own

Dislikes

... software engineer joined as fresher and who has been working here since 4 yrs. And my salary is still basic pay that other companies offer to an intern. Though I worked under a good project over 3 yrs and got apprised from client but got zero recognition from techM. And surprised that I'm marked as bench for 60 days n the hr forced me to resign.Manager is too rude to female employees who asks leave for marriage or maternity. Asking to take voluntary break in career. No opportunities to explore. Stop being a rock and move out for better opportunities outside. Say big NO for this company if u want to start a career or a newbie in IT.

It is a good place to start career if you don't have enough technical and coding skills and also if you are looking WorkLife balance environment and you can have fulfilled training part which is my favorite thing about Tech Mahindra and those were good days in my life.

Switching 1st company in just 2 months

I got JL from another company right in Bengaluru, the joining is on 26 Feb 2025 and I will be joining as a fresher, the pay in little high but the main advantage is the project allotment because at techM I got technical support which is a techno-functional job not a development job plus a bond of 2 years on 1 lakh inr. I didn't just study btech cs to not get a dev job, so I am planing on leaving the company. Should I? Or not?
