Whenever you start your journey with this firm, it's not matter that how many years or months you have spent with this firm but when you look outside you will come to know that it's circle zero i.e. instead of spending a time with this firm you could have done much butter. I mean it's good for the people who really don't care for money or like not so much keen to grow their in career path and happy to stay at same place and same position for life long.

... be it's internal algorithm or criteria which is even not visible to associates. 2) Appraisal and salary hike are like which you can say almost negligible. 3) No defined criteria for Promotion, moreover if you will ask then they will say it's our decision and there is not any policy set for promotion. 4) If you are in Offshore project then you will not get any release. If you are in onsite project you can't say no for anything. My personal recommendation to check for other options! People also misunderstood about brand value like Tata Group and all but now it's completely changed. When an associate is ready to give 100% from their side, firm has to look after the associates as well. As the firm expanding they are trying to automate in terms of process or any other things but they have lost human touch. HR and RMG worst part of the firm, and senior leadership are so egoistic that they don't want to respond as well for their associate's query. I heard sentence like What's last will happen i.e. associate will resign who cares, we have ocean of associates. Check other options please.

...ment. Job security is the only plus. Work culture is very bad. Pay is very poor. Variable pay reduces your salary to the extent you'd get the same salary as your old job.

Match the salary as per the role and market standards. Tcs do not have good leaders in some accounts. Leaders just watch the middle managers play dirty politics and stay silent.

Very stingy management Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations. Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop

...dedicated team within the projects ( even projects as large as with 300 people). Quarterly bonus is almost certain to be zero at 12+ yr experience levels. Old school mentality still exists in TCS, where wearing Jeans is a crime on weekdays. Male employees still do not get official paternity leave ( when needed they apply other available leaves)
