Worl life balance is good in tcs but again it's depends on your project salary is very less comparatively market standards but tcs gives hundreds percent job gaurantee. Working in tcs is like working in government job

They directly allocate you any project will not not get the project as per your skill set. Lots of rule and policy are there.

Associates are losing thousands of money from their salary every month in the name of quarterly results or associates not working from office. I feel joining TCS at early stages will translate into delayed career growth which will result in lesser monetary value in overall growth.

TCS offers good work life balance and average skill development. Once you are in they rarely fire. They have variety of projects where you will be mapped according to your skill even if you are average or poor in skill.

Poor salary hikes, Removal of hybrid mode. And Poor promotions. Only disadvantages of TCS job as a fresher is less money.
