Managers will always try to give you onsite lolly pop and in 80% scenario its a trap for employee. In most of the cases they are giving false commitment(80%) to employee. Even though you worked with so long with tcs they will not give you good hike or retention offer rather they would prefer to buy new employee with around market price or more than market price. Dirty corporate politics is also there but again it depends on individual how they are playing there role.

Salary growth is very low as compared other bpo company for freshers and experience employees politics they think that we are the only boss

Dislikes

Very stingy management Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations. Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop

Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.

...dedicated team within the projects ( even projects as large as with 300 people). Quarterly bonus is almost certain to be zero at 12+ yr experience levels. Old school mentality still exists in TCS, where wearing Jeans is a crime on weekdays. Male employees still do not get official paternity leave ( when needed they apply other available leaves)

Dislikes

...rs are like arrogant bosses, they cannot toleryone word against their decisions. Quarterly bonus is virtually non existent at 13+ yr experience levels
