...as a part of Tcs Bps payroll. Worst payroll ever. Dont join tcs bps. Its a scam. Peanut salary. 600-1200 rs yearly hike. Dont join even if your profile is related IT. You will get low salary. Growth depends upon project you are allocated with. Just 1 advise, join TCS IT, NOT BPS. Tcs have 2 payroll. Dont just join with brand tcs. Please check payroll before joining.

Everything. We work to get salary. For me, salary is everything. I am having 3 years of automation testing experience in tcs bps. My salary was still under 20K. Just imagine working as technical IT profile. As fresher, i was in stipend for 1 year where i was getting 13700 rs salary monthly. After 3 year as an Automation tester, i was getting around 17K monthly. Now i switched to small firm with 100 percent hike. I wish if i could do this earlier.

Work life balance is completely based on your project. If you are lucky you'll be peaceful with your work. Infrastructure is good

Dislikes

No learning opportunities. Promotions are often withheld for no reason. No salary benefits and negligible hike. Some projects dont even appreciate your hardwork.

I get to learn different skills by having unlimited access to udemy and learning access also I do not have an ego to work in development. So when I was released from first project I got support role which then transitioned to kafka project

Promotions and Hikes are invisible. It's based on pure luck If you get a promotion, in-hand salary gets increased in very slow manner.

Good work culture ( if one does not want to work ). One can spend complete career without working. One can deny work by telling lack of bandwidth or lack of experience. TCS has tie up with most training platforms so one learn a lot. If you have good relation with seniors then chances are there for onsite oppurtunity.

Dislikes

No appreciation for project work completion and hardly any promotion or salary hike. Every project manager amd partner will give a ladoo of onsite oppurtunity to everyone in the project to motivate as they are helpless due to low pay and low yearly appreciation of associates. TCS is mostly concentrated on AMS and BAU projects so chances are less to get a role in consulting or implementation project. ( its mostly like tata customer service) No mapping of career aspiration, skillset or education qualification. Senior are mostly concerned about incoming revenue and will tag to any project as long as revenue from client is coming. Getting out of project one does not like is very difficult without proper connection or if the project does not finish. No proper training before onboading, Partners try to skill associates on clients resources after onboarding to save money.

Mindset - No growth mindset, cheap policies to save money from every corner, don't provide any good facilities office or any tech related infra. No concern about employee well being and top management lacks leadership qualities big time.
