The Tata brand, the culture, the policies and the integrity is commendable. The way it's structured, the work life balance. Mostly it is the tata culture and the tata brand and reputation that is holding many people together.

Dislikes

The salary, the compensations, the appraisals, the HR connect is too bad. Never ever in my 10 years of experience have I had a good HR connect. You do not feel belonged and like no one is listening to you. Even the HRs and RMGs only listen to the managers and account heads. No honest employee connections. NO retention thoughts, no perks and no increments.

Likes

Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Dislikes

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.

Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

Dislikes

No hikes, no motivation, no appraisals, shit salary. Failure to recognize true potential from right employee

Work life balance is completely based on your project. If you are lucky you'll be peaceful with your work. Infrastructure is good

Dislikes

No learning opportunities. Promotions are often withheld for no reason. No salary benefits and negligible hike. Some projects dont even appreciate your hardwork.

I get to learn different skills by having unlimited access to udemy and learning access also I do not have an ego to work in development. So when I was released from first project I got support role which then transitioned to kafka project

Dislikes

Promotions and Hikes are invisible. It's based on pure luck If you get a promotion, in-hand salary gets increased in very slow manner.
