Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations.
Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop
...only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words.
Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies.
Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews.
In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary.
In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS.
Also, Somebody, once joined TCS at early stage feels incompetent to the job market.
-Salary increment is very poor compare to inflation rate a lot of deductions, also during increment they just adjust some of the components in the CTC, no promotion since 3 years just changing positions and increasing workload internally (that also not on the paper) and not giving money for additional workload (simply exploitation) and lot of micromanagement.
- They prefer to give more packge to new joiner than currently working professionals who already have expertise and we have to train them, also sometimes they used to get work done from freshers for cost cutting; here also we have to train the freshers.
- Also some of the project managers are expecting a work from employees during weekends too.
- And the limit was reached when they asked to submit backpack when I was leaving the organization which was provided during the joining time otherwise you have to bourne money i.e. cost of backpack as a fine (never seen such a miser organization before).
Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.
