Work life balance is good. For managers and above, Variable pay is just as good as nothing. Consider there is no variable and whatever you get is a plus. HR process is very bad, they don't answer any question, you may expect a reply from Prime minister office, but don't expect solution from HRs. The assets you get (laptop, mouse etc) are outdated.

The pay structure is often not competitive with industry standards, and increments are minimal despite years of service and consistent performance. For a company of TCS’s stature, employees expect better rewards for their efforts. Low pay, coupled with the high demands of client projects, often leads to dissatisfaction, especially when compared to peers in other organizations. Promotions at TCS are another pain point. The process is slow and lacks transparency, making it difficult for employees to plan their career progression. 1. There are no other benefits apart from salary 2. 5 days WFO failing which they deduct in the quarterly performance pay. 3. Salary Hike is for name sake you will end up getting 30 to 35k per year for highest band. 4. No technical growth. Here most of the projects are like support kind of thing so there is no technical growth. 5. Apart from job security there are no other benefits

Job security and work life balance. Again, work life balance depends on project to project. But, at the same time, you will be able to change the project over a period of time.

Dislikes

Salary is below average and they don’t believe in making salary upto market standard. As per TCs senior management, TCS is known for job security and not good salary. If you don’t like it here , enjoy somewhere else. If you put down your paper, they will congratulate you 😂

.... Fake promises by manager and no accountability to honour their commitments 3. Poor salary structure 4. Policies are also very bad, when you dont have project odc in india and project failed to provide seat in nearst tcs office still you need to comply with wfo policy. They wont give you exception. 5. Over mail manager gives assurance to retain person but still won’t honor.
