TCS is a very good company for IT workers but for finance it's just a company who pay you to work. Finance associate don't have facility like IT sector employees in asame company. Huge difference between both

Appraisal and Promotion was not good at all. Higher management don't appreciate their workers to work hard

1. Learning opportunities are good but to implement what you learn you really never get a project or support. 2. Client managed projects are good 3. Lot of clients and project which you can choose 4. Cafeteria, health insurance benefits are excellent. 5. Lot of books and other digital platforms to learn 6. lot of offices across India where you can work. 7. Job security 8. if you are not loaded with work, lot of things we can pursue.

... work done from freshers or newly joined graduates by making them work 24 x 7 3. Very low compensation, poor promotions policy, no transparency in promotion criteria, everytime you get a different answer from HR. 4. Work life balance and other things purely depend on project you are working.

1. Great values for clients. 2. Good place for experienced professionals 3. Good work life balance 4. If you have patience then you become anything you want 5. Ontime salaries - very professional in all financial matters 6. No unethical values or behaviour toleration, even a Customer leader can loose his/her job within a night upon any greviances.

Dislikes

...upgrading yourself with current market competencies by just provindg the BAU. 4. Not at all for freshers, low salary packages and low pace of growth. 5. Incompetent HR's in most of the locations 6. Leaves are just numbers in policies, projects are not at all flexible for allowing leaves. Asking for leaves is like you asking for blood ! 7. Horses and Donkeys are in same race and doing the same work but with differrent packages - not market match. 8. Over all - not good for freshers at all. Or donot work more than 3 years max

There’s nothing good to write about TCS. If job security is the only good thing then let me tell you that it’s a myth. They have shady background verification process that will destroy your future. Even if you are lucky enough to survive that again they will make your life miserable in the name of rules and regulations you will quit by yourself.

...tation rules to force many employees to commute through their personal expenses. The new CEO introduced a D rating which means employees having this rating will face a deduction in salary. They force employees to come office even during the natural calamities. Even if the clients/government ask to work from home, TCS won’t allow to do that. They force everyone to sit in the office for 10 hours and the way they have made the rules that employees won’t get time for family, skill improvement, and personal emergencies. The rules are not applicable for top level people.

1- Mandatory 5 day WFO. 2- Introduction of D band which reduces employees salary by more 10% 3- delayed promotion. 4- Worst increment percentage even Higher Band - A receiving max 6-7 % annual hike. 5- HIS co-pay policy and increased HIS premium every year. 6- HR and Manager rude behaviour. 7- Many more......
