Very poor work culture and salary hike is like searching for peanuts you end up realising these peanuts even if you spot are part of variable pay not fixed and variable payout depends on company performance which you wouldn’t get 100% irrespective of company making profits, so every year you end up paying company more than you earn

TCS is one of best companion to work with in terms of Learning and work life balance. Company policies on various aspects are at optimum level and transparent. If we talk about the job security then TCS is one of the pioneers in the market. Work culture is pretty good, no room for nonsense. Apart from salary, there are loads of unmatched benifits available which would allow the employees to leverage and stick to the company.

Dislikes

The salary structure of TCS is not the best, however there is a reason to it. TCS has a huge employee base of more than 5 lakhs, thus huge salary is not feasible.

Compensation and Benefits in terms of CTC, Rewards and Recognition (depends on oiling and buttering) is worst among industries. Loyalty of Older resources stands nothing to TCS management.

Work culture at TCS was pretty good for me a lot less stressful with all facilities available inside campus.

Growth is slow in terms of salary and learning. Sometimes you may excellent project opportunities for growth but chances of getting such projects is very low

You don't get paid as per work or designation. No work life balance. Only expected to work round the clock. No benifit like bonus etc.
