Tata follows strict work ethics for all it's entities that adds to the healthy work culture in the company.there is a balance that one can maintain with personal and professional life. Tata gives job security which attracts it's employee. My overall experience of being a Tata consultancy employee is highly satisfied.

Dislikes

It's salary and appraisal is one thing that needs little more attention and travel opportunities should increase.

Job security On time salary Has a process. Follows that process. On-site opportunities.

Dislikes

No real scope for skill growth. Completely depends on project and most of them don't provide that growth. Appraisal process most definitely has scope for favoritsm. Since appraisal is dependent on managers, has scope to lead to harassment. People at lower rung of the hierarchy are not treated like professionals rather like people not worthy of the time of seniors. Most of the managers are arrogant and do a wholly different level of micro- management.

Likes

Providing opportunity for fresher to land in IT industry. Job is much secure here. Stable company, you can even retire from here. Cab services, average health insurance.

Dislikes

... from the manager is like asking for his/her kidneys. Salary increment is poor. They claim that Digital candidates get good pay but completing modules for digital is useless rather someone can prepare to move out of the company. No goodies, outing and very few parties just do your work and go home. Switching project on your will is nightmare or impossible, they make you stay even if you have no work just for billing

An employee's benefit from organization is not just a payslip. This organization is a great place in terms of learning opportunities with multiple learning channels. - Regarding the work culture and projects, its nurturing for freshers. They would learn many things useful. It would add a brand value. Again it depends from project to project. But mostly it is a great work place with good managers and colleagues.

No organization is perfect. So, it depends on one's skill that decides the pay package.

Pros are: 1. TCS is good in giving salary on time. It gives every last working day of a month on time. 2. The work load is average, I didn't got much work. But may be you got lots of work if your team lead is not good. 3. The job security in TCS is 100%.

Dislikes

Cons are: 1. TCS salary is very low and the increment is also very low.
