Slow growth. For laterals, negotiate your salary well. Don't get trapped in Tata's brand name, as there won't be salary appraisals on entire CTC. Low compensation.

Work culture is good.....

Dislikes

Promotions are very late and difficult to experience persons...... Salary increment also very late....total Salary revision will do after 7 years is too late...and basic yearly increment is given low value...minimum monthly 100/- then yearly 1200/- is better to us..this is minimum value we think. Running with low manpower..this is not good for worker's health...

The pay structure is still good for freshers and employee related benefits are good. However, i have worked only in Tata Steel and hence not aware about the benefits which other companies provide.
