Heavy corporate politics, nepotism at its peak, benefits are just an illusion, management is highly unprofessional, compensation is industry lowest, CTC is flawed, employees' overall development is zero, and many many more. Working in tata steel is like working for our nation,pay and perks are far better than its peers. Work life balance is great in this company. And there is very less politics, people and officers are very collaborative and supportive in nature. Overall TATA STEEL is great company to work and gain knowledge and experience. Job security is very high as compared to other peers companies.

If you are working in tata steel,then you have to follow all safety guidelines strictly, otherwise you can face some problem. And as I think it is not a demerit of company.

Many people whose salary is very low but not pay revised till now.This salary structure is not acceptable in this company. Jamshedpur and Kalinganagar site rules are very good, but Meramandali site rule is very bad.kindly look into this matter.

Giving open threats about firing employees is not something appreciable from such large steel brand, that's what the job security we have in this plant...

Salary is very low and they have no plans to revise them.
