Work Life Balance is very good, but then again depends on your team and reporting heads. You can learn a lot of things if you really want to, especially if you are posted in greenfield plants. Benefits are always something to look after Job Security is the best amongst any industry Higher Management is easily accessible,atleast from what I have seen and encountered.

Salary compensation, it's worst. The CTC they give are bloated to the top Appraisal is very minimal, even if the rating is high You can find people with a very orthodox mentality, so gelling up becomes difficult, especially if you had to work with them. HR policies are good enough, but HRs are/acts(?) very dumb sometimes even after qualifying from top grade B-schools.

Job security, good no. of PL, CL and SL, holiday plan.

...h, its not true in every department, greatly depends on your work area and team. Take home salary is very less in comparison to overall CTC.

If you are subsidiary employees (TSSSL & TSTSL)Bad things Salary is very bad or one important thing if you are joining tata steel in subsidiary employe so you are not trying for applying in roll because subsidiary employe atlist working with tsssl & tstsl minimum 3years then you will trying apply for roll that means your previous experience not value in tata steel. That things is very bad in TATA STEEL

Safety is first priority and people are working very hard to make it safe place.

Dislikes

Salary structure is still lagging, no support from HoD, people who are working very hard doesn't get paid for there work.
